International Womens Day: Meet The Social Innovator.
My name is Ayanrinola Feyisola Titilade. I am a young social innovator, a nurse by profession and also an entrepreneur.
I love communal work, I love to reach out to people, and service to humanity is my passion. I am the team lead of The Inverter Foundation where our core value is capacity building among youths hence one of our yearly activities is “Take a Step”, where hundreds of youths are trained on different vocations which is free.
One of our aims is to ensure that we have right leaders so, we have online leadership classes that run for free for teenagers and youths and everyone gets a certificate at the end of the course.
Our yearly program is not limited to the above mentioned only. Other programs include; “Notebook For Schools” where thousands of writing materials are distributed to the less privilege at the resumption of a new session.
“Holiday Hub” which takes place during summer when primary and secondary schools are educated on leadership ethics;
“Àmàlà Business Hangout” is another wonderful activity of the team where young and upcoming entrepreneurs get to learn from business men and women doing exceptionally well in their businesses.
In addition, “Goal setting class” is an online class that takes place at the end of the year where goals are set for New Year coming and we have facilitators to lecture and vet the set goals.
By the grace of God, over 10,000 people have benefited from our events across Africa since we started in the year 2016.
I am happy and I feel fulfilling because I have been able to make contributions to my society in my own little way. I believe in the saying of John F. Kennedy that “ask not what your country can give you, but ask what you can give to your country”.
